Scholarship information
Celebrate Munford, Inc. will award three (3) separate $1,500.00 scholarships at the Munford High School Awards Banquet. These scholarships must be applied toward tuition. The winners of these scholarships shall provide information to Celebrate Munford concerning tuition at which time Celebrate Munford shall send payment directly to the institution where the winner has chosen to attend.
Eligibility
Any student (including home schooled) who will graduate from the Munford High School district during the May Ceremonies who has an accumulated grade point average of at least a B (3.00), who plans to enroll in an institution of higher learning (including trade schools and vocational technical schools) within the state of Tennessee, may apply for this scholarship.
Criteria Used in Awarding Scholarship
In awarding this scholarship the Selection Committee shall give major consideration to those with the following qualifications.
- Evidence of scholastic achievement, leadership, maturity, and character
- Financial need
- Clarity and force of applicant’s statement
- Personal interview
