Special Event Coordinator
The City of Munford is currently seeking an energetic, collaborative, positive, creative Special Event Coordinator. This position would be responsible for planning and implementing adult or family community events for the citizens of Munford, as well as planning a concert series for the currently under construction Veteran’s Plaza Amphitheater. Responsibility for securing partnerships and sponsors to reduce event costs as well as marketing the event to create interest. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in event planning or marketing or at least three years of marketing experience. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing and verbal communication skills, an understanding of the unique role this position would have in creating community events for a diverse population and is a self-starter, the ability to budget and financially manage all events and the amphitheater. Public Works - Utility Worker 1
The City of Munford is accepting applications for an entry-level PUBLIC WORKS - UTILITY EMPLOYEE. This job involves operation and maintenance of gas, water, sewer and wastewater treatment utilities serving Munford and nearby communities.
Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have the ability to obtain CDL Class B license. City may also require a water/wastewater certification during your employment. Public Works - Water Treatment Operator/Trainee
City of Munford is accepting applications for a Grade III Water Treatment Operator or Trainee. This job involves the operation of the City of Munford’s Water Treatment plant in accordance with State and Federal regulations. We encourage applicants that are interested in training to obtain a Grade III Water Treatment license or current Water Treatment Operators to apply by January 20, 2024.
