PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE: August 23, 2021

The City of Munford will conduct a series of Public Meetings to provide information to the public on the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Resources Division Parks and Recreation Grants and the City’s plan to apply for this funding. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on proposed projects.

There are multiple ways in which the public can participate and provide comment on the proposed project.

1. Attend the In-Person Public Meeting at the Munford City Courtroom on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 6:30 PM. The Munford City Courtroom is located at 70 College Street.
2. A Social Media Public Meeting will be held on the Munford Parks & Recreation Facebook Page (facebook.com/munfordparksandrec). Project information will be posted for public comment on or by September 1, 2021.
3. Request a project information packet from Ms. Sherry Yelvington, City Recorder. Comments should be submitted by Wednesday, September 1, 2020 at 4:00 PM. Ms. Yelvington can be reached by calling City Hall at (901) 837-5955.
