JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Munford is currently seeking an energetic, collaborative, positive, creative Special Event Coordinator. This position would be responsible for planning and implementing adult or family community events for the citizens of Munford, as well as planning a concert series for the currently under construction Veteran’s Plaza Amphitheater. Responsibility for securing partnerships and sponsors to reduce event costs as well as marketing the event to create interest. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in event planning or marketing or at least three years of marketing experience. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing and verbal communication skills, an understanding of the unique role this position would have in creating community events for a diverse population and is a self-starter, the ability to budget and financially manage all events and the amphitheater.
